Wiley's story
Wiley is a massive, adult, neutered male cat, probably born around 2003.  He's a glorious dark silver longhair with a rakish crumpled ear (hematoma injury).  He is the calm eye of the storm in Room 4.  No matter what shenanigans the younger cats get up to, Wiley just gazed indulgently from the biggest and best cat bed on the window ledge...and goes back to his meditations.  He adores cheek rubs and having our arms around him while he rests, but he's so big that being carried (or, as he calls it, "hauled around") is beneath his dignity.  He will go where he wants to go, when he wants to go there, and he doesn't need any assistance to get there, thank you very much.  He doesn't get grumpy, but he definitely squirms to get to his own four feet.  Having said that, he's a champ at sitting next to people and keeping them company.
