LARGE PURPLE LILAC Shrubs-Fragrant-Potted! $80 or 5 for $380 BUSHY!Hi folks! Daisy Girl here! Are you looking for a nice medium to large sized shrub that will fill your world with fragrance? If so, this would sure be a nice option! These shrubs have the most delicious smell, and SO SO pretty in your yard as well as in your vase within your home as cut flowers! DOUBLE YAY!***THESE LOVELY LARGER SHRUBS ARE OLDER BLOOMING AGE WITH MULTIPLE SHOOTS AND HUGE ROOT SYSTEMS! They are already producing babies/colonies right in the pots, and are thick and bushy! You would just love them!PURPLE LILAC- This is one plant no yard should be without! This variety is the very old fashioned lilac with a sweet fragrance and sports profuse purple blooms. Super zone 2 hardy, and will grow/expand every year after planting. The Lilac enjoys sunny locations for the best bloom and is good in a variety of soils. It is also quite drought tolerant, but avoid planting in low areas where wet soil is present, or experiences seasonal flooding, as they don't care for wet feet. The Lilac is quite a versatile shrub, with many uses from floral design, yard borders, privacy screens, living fence..... to field windbreaks, hwy restoration and beautification, songbird nesting. They are also SO popular just to have in your yard or at the corners/edges of your property as specimen plantings! It will reach around that 8 to 15 foot in height and around 8 to 12 foot in width, depending on your soil conditions, and is about as carefree as they come. If your needing a privacy screen or windbreak, try planting them 4 to 8 foot apart for a dense wall that will fill in quite quickly. It is also one of the first flowering shrubs that bloom in the spring to cut and bring in the house..... for sure a must-have! It is SO pretty, SO carefree and SO versatile, that you'll look like a master gardener without even trying! :) I have a nice selection of these lovelies available as larger potted shrubs for $80 each, or 5 for $380. They are 3 to 4 feet tall (not including the pot of course). They are potted in real dirt (living/thriving/growing) and will experience no transplant shock. I also have a handful of even larger purple Lilacs available at $100 each, and even some WHITE LILACS if you're interested in popping in a few of these for added color contrast! :) IS NOW A GOOD TIME TO PLANT?> The answer to that question (in my several seasons of planting, gardening and growing opinion) would be a big'ole YES, and in fact is personally my very favorite time to plant most any potted tree/Shrub or Perennial plant :) There are several reasons why late summer/autumn is my favorite time to plant, but the paramount reason is there is much less care for your new planting doing it in the autumn, as well as better for the plant. In our neck of the woods here we will soon be entering into the autumn/fall rainy season before the snow fly's, which means much less watering/care time for your tree, plant and you. The trees or plants will also be going into the dormant stage very soon here as they prepare for winter, where they will not require any care what-so-ever. Then, in the spring when the days are longer and the sun shines hotter the trees/plants will break dormancy, yet they will get plenty of moisture from the snow melt>thus requiring little to no care by the home owner again. You can pretty much kick back in the spring and watch/love and enjoy your new plantings without the worry if they are getting enough moisture. The spring is also the time where your little plants and trees will be putting forth most of their effort in establishing their new season's root system, setting all their little feeder roots and pretty much establishing their own little space in nature. It's pretty cool really, as their spring growth is quite fast, to the point you can almost see it grow! Generally speaking, if you are able to plant your trees in the autumn, this spring growth spurt is not disturbed, as opposed to planting in the spring or in the summer, thus you will have bigger/better growth within the planting year. Another wonderful reason I love to plant now is simply personal comfort. Cooler days, less sweat and little to no mosquitoes and deer flies! I also have more time in the late summer/autumn with not so much going on as we all seem to have in the spring. So, in a word> YAY for planting now if you are able! :) You can plant your trees OR plant goodies with complete confidence right up to freeze up or even after the plant as already gone into dormancy. As long as you can get the shovel in the ground to dig the hole, you're good to go!*If you would like the complete list of my Trees/Plants/Shrubs, along with my simple pricing list, just drop me an email and I would be more than happy to get that right out to you.**NO TIME TO PLANT NOW? No Problem! All of our trees, plants and shrubs are potted in REAL DIRT (with worms and everything LOL!), and will be fine in their pots for as long as you need or until you are ready to plant. We also offer FREE storage/care of your purchased nursery items for about as long as you need. Many of our plant clients take advantage of this free service, buying early for best selection, and the convenience of planting on their time schedule. It's the perfect combo! ***All my plants I am selling are totally organic from our little ranch here, raised with tender loving care and are just beautiful! Most if not all of the perennials that I sell are from my grandmothers and great grandmothers root stock or wild native stock, so they are extremely tough and totally hardy for our area here in the heart of the lakes. Once these plants are ground planted and established, you will have no problem having years and years of enjoyment from them. Many of the plants are SO PRETTY and so wonderful to attract your favorite birdies, butterflies and feeding the bees and/or yourself! You'll have your own little revolving eco system like I have now in my yard!****If you think you'd like to drop by our nursery, we are located exactly one mile east of Erhard, MN on county hwy. #24.
