3/26/18: Spanky is such a character! He has a big personality and he lets you know what he thinks. He likes the sound of his voice and barks at everyone he meets - when you come home and when you enter the room, even if he knows you. The best way to handle the barking is to completely ignore him and he'll stop. After living with us for a few days, he started barking less frequently as we go from room to room in the house. Because he's vocal, he wouldn't do well in a shared wall living situation.

Spanky craves attention. If we're paying attention to one of our other dogs, he barges right in and takes over if we let him. He always wants to snuggle and prefers to be on a lap. He also freely gives kisses. Spanky gets along well with our 3 dogs but they are very easygoing dogs when it comes to his antics.

The weather has been warmer so we've discovered he loves to go on walks! He's a little chubby but has lots of energy and is very agile! Spanky is potty trained and crate trained. Because he's headstrong, he would not be a good fit for a family with young children.
